 Examples The next items will be at the workshop in form of a kit: - One Rubber Band
- Weights of some kind (rice)
- One 12 Circle of batting Hand Full of Polyfill
- One cap from a spray paint can or 3“ plastic Cap
Directions:
Cut from the 2 fatquarters two circles 12” round Layer the Batting and one circle and stuff the edges into the cap folding and pleating all the way around, please use glue if needed. Pour in weight material this could be a rock, rice or fishing weight or just something heavy in to cap.
With the last 12” circle stuff with poly fill, Must be very tight.
Then wrap around rubber Band on end. This will resemble a mushroom when done.
Glue around top edge of Cap and push mushroom top into the
opening.
Embellish with Ribbon or lace.
Options Monogram: your Initials on the top of the Pincushion or
put a cute embroidery design on the top. Please do this before
Coming to Class. Place in the Center of one of your 12” Circle.
